We wanted to go to L’Arome but did not have a table booked and we rocked up at 9pm, got told pretty rudely that there’s no tables available, so we had to look elsewhere to have dinner. Thankfully we stumbled across Ummagumma, and ended up having a truly lovely meal in a very relaxed atmosphere, having managed to secure a table for 2 outside. The waiter (who probably also owns the place) is a very nice and charismatic person! The food was soooo tasty, everything was full of flavour, I was extremely impressed with the amount of scallops in the Tagliatelle St Jacques, there was no shortage of seafood and taste in that dish! The cheese fondue was amazing as well, the gratinee mussles were delicious! Even the salad was super tasty (in England salad doesn’t taste if anything unfortunately). Excellent food for excellent value. I would truly recommend this place ! Thank you for a lovely meal during our last night in Marseille.

The food was absolutely delicious! We ended up getting 3 dishes because we couldn't decide: some cheesy dish (has a heart by it's name on the menu), octopus & gnocchi, and shrimp ceviche. They were all yummy, but I want more of that cheese dish!!

Had a very nice dinner for 8 persons! Everyone was happy with the food, portions were bigger than I expected, and they also had several super delicious vegetarian options (didn’t note any vegan options). Merci!

We were a group of 8 people and tried a variety of cheese based meals, they were all fabulous. The servings are generous with a very tasty sauce for the salad. We also tried the house wine, red and white, it's offered at very decent price. Service was very friendly and helpful, I would definitely recommend this place.

If you love cheese try the "L'Etrange Reblochon de San Marco (with ham and onions)" or the "Camembert progresif". Great cozy location with even greater people. Definately a no-brainer!

Ummagumma was recommended by our Airbnb host, and did not disappoint. More like a 4.5 than a 4. Service: 5 Taste: 4 Portions: 5 Ambiance: 4 Price: 4

Funky alternative restaurant with great international food. Dining room was fully reserved when we arrived but luckily we got a small table near the bar. Food was refined, flavorable and nicely presented. Bartender / waitress was friendly and offered us a liquor shot as dessert.
